SCHOLARSHIPS

Records show that scholarships were offered as early in the club's history as 1929.  Since 1966, well over $150,000 has been awarded to college level artists and some high school students.  In recent years, the club has held auditions and awarded 7 to 12 scholarships each year, averaging a total of $7,000.  Currently, awards are given to promising college and graduate student musicians from the metropolitan area following a professionally judged audition process. Scholarship funds are raised through an Annual Benefit Concert, endowments, donations, and memorials.  All contributions are tax-deductible.

Due to Covid-19 precautions, no Scholarships were awarded in 2021 and scholarship funds were carried forward.
